Silo Season 2

Building on the runaway success of Apple TV+’s Silo Season 1, we designed a fan‑first Season 2 campaign that deepened engagement and broadened the show’s appeal. Our “Silocore” influencer program partnered with comedy, STEM, and DIY fashion creators to translate the series’ heavy sci‑fi themes into relatable, shareable content; we hosted a Reddit AMA with showrunner Graham Yost and author Hugh Howey to drive insider conversation; and we staged an immersive pop‑up takeover at SDCC with live captures and real‑time amplification, together generating significant earned media, high community engagement, and a wider, more diverse fan base.

Silo Level 143 Experience

Captured and posted real-time, reactive content from Apple TV+’s Silo pop-up at Nason’s Beer Hall in the Gaslamp Quarter during SDCC, spotlighting experiences like airbrushed tattoos of both talent and fans to drive awareness and foot traffic, with on-the-fly concepts approved by the client.

Silo SDCC Creators

As part of our strategy, we invited entertainment creators with a genuine affinity for Silo to document each touchpoint of Silo’s presence at SDCC. From panel moments to talent meet-and-greets, culminating in recap AVs shared on their channels to boost excitement and highlight the Season 2 Date Announcement.

I facilitated briefings with our team ahead of the event, ensured comprehensive coverage, assisted with shot gathering, and reviewed final deliverables before going live.

Silocore

Ange Mariano showcased her DIY fashion skills by crafting a Silo-inspired suit from makeshift materials, thematically mirroring Juliette’s resourcefulness in the show.

Caroline Kildonas brought Juliette Nichols to life through her signature skit style, using creative props and shot choices to introduce viewers to the story.

Lea Denim added levity with her POV-style comedy, imagining the everyday life of a background character in the Silo.

Silo Season 2 Reddit AMA

To engage passionate TV fans on Reddit, I collaborated with Reddit, Apple TV+, and talent teams to produce an AMA with Silo showrunner Graham Yost and author Hugh Howey. Working with the r/Television mods to host and r/SiloSeries to crosspost for superfan reach, we promoted RSVPs and participation through custom graphics on Apple TV+’s Instagram and X.

During the AMA live hour, I developed a streamlined process to seed questions and post answers under Graham’s account, speaking with him directly while on a video call to capture and transcribe his responses, allowing him to focus on thoughtful, in-depth answers without navigating Reddit’s nuances.

The AMA generated strong fan engagement and served as a perfect lead-up to the Silo Season 2 finale.

Judicial vs. Rebellion

Collaborating with our internal motion team, I developed pre-premiere trailer-style AVs for Silo Season 2 that recapped Season 1 through two opposing lenses, Juliette Nichols and the Rebellion versus the ruling body, Judicial.

Designed to present biased, conflicting viewpoints, the approach encouraged viewers to watch both versions, and ultimately watch the show themselves to develop their own perspectives on the truth, to align with our core positioning of challenging audiences to “go outside” their status quo and question everything.
